| Sherry is from the far north in Soldotna, Alaska where she spends time with her family and friends. She also spends much of her time writing, singing and recording songs as she has a passion for music with the desire to make a difference in the world and those around her. Her primary goal is to reach the lost and compel them into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ – the only true “High” for the population today. Although Sherry spent most of her time growing up in the Provo, Utah area, she was actually born in Denver Colorado as the oldest of four siblings. As a preacher’s kid, Sherry has been raised in church all of her life and has been singing since the early age of two. Sherry’s parents trained and supported her from the beginning, and her mother recorded a gospel album with Sherry during her teenage years.
Sherry’s sound is very unique and God has truly blessed her. She will appeal to the youth of today as well as the older generations. Her music is a blend of jazz, country, rock, blues and a lot of soul. The first music CD, “On the Wings…” is made up of 10 songs that Sherry wrote reflecting life experiences that will drive the music deep in your heart. Her second music CD, “Setting the Standard, On the Wings II” includes many of the favorite hymn songs that so many of us grew up on but with a new sound that everyone will love. Sherry has written a number of praise and worship songs and would like to incorporate them in a Praise and Worship CD in the near future. As songwriter, Sherry has been involved in co-writing songs with Brad Coleman of California. Most of these songs have a country pop sound. Sherry has performed the songs as demo’s placing them out in the music market. Currently, Sherry leads Praise and Worship in her local church where she attends regularly while at home. She was truly born to worship the Almighty Sovereign God and her favorite place is in church. Sherry has sung in concerts across the land and is as “real” on stage as off stage with a very kind and giving heart to those around her. When you walk away from one of Sherry’s concerts, you won’t leave there like you came.
